Legend has it that these mountains contain the Famous, Secret, Lost Dutchman Gold Mine.
Discovered by Jacob Waltz, aka "The Dutchman", in the late 1800's. He passed away in 1881, Phoenix, Az. without ever sharing the mine's location.
Many gold seekers have gone in searching for the lost gold mine, and never returned!
