Supplication to Saint Teresa

“My holy Thérèse of the Child Jesus, who promised to send a rain of roses over the world, I ask you: fulfill your consoling promise in my life. I need a rain of graces to wash my soul in the waters of the Father's blessings. Intercede for me with your beloved Jesus. Accompany me with your prayers, increase my confidence in divine mercy. I want to take big steps along the Little Path that you have trodden, - a path entirely made of dependence and surrender to the loving designs of God. Obtain for me the grace not to doubt the love that Jesus has for me. Help me to believe daily in God's support over my life when I'm afflicted, when I'm anxious, when I'm sick, when I feel weak and discouraged to pray, work and love. Grant me, from Jesus, the gift of joy, the ability to smile and believe, even when there is darkness within me. You made Love the aim and meaning of your brief life. You faced all trials with a smile and denied nothing to the Good Lord. May Jesus, your beloved husband, Way, Truth and Life always be with me and with the people I love. Answer me in this grace that I insistently ask of you (at this moment the request must be made). (Pray an Our Father, a Hail Mary and a Glory to the Father).
