SWAMI MAHENDRA

Swami Mahendra was born on 6th December 1963 in Rantau, Negeri Sembilan in Malaysia [‘Maha’ nakshatratchatra, Simma raasi]. His parents are, Mr. Vadivelu and Madam Kamalaammal. Swami Mahendra is the sixth son of the couple. He is a great devotee of ‘Arumugam’, popularly known by the name ‘Lord Muruga’. Swami

Swami’s foundational education was in a Malay school where he completed his Secondary school education upto Form 5. He then continued his studies in Vedas at Tiruchandur. He then worked as a priest at Sri Sakthi Vinayagar Temple, Ulu Kelang, Ampang from 1987-1991. In 1992, he married Sakunthala and is blessed with two beautiful children.
