Abstract

The proponent will attempt to make a software application that can verify the occurrence of any accidents in the UAE. The primary focus is in the verification of an accident since no device on the market has done the same thing before. One of the reasons why the proponent came with this idea is because many drivers made accidents and they refused to move away from the road till the police patrol come to verify the incidence of the accident, and that made unnecessary traffic jams. Even if they moved to the side of the road, they will still be waiting for probably no less than 5 minutes for the police patrol to come and the police officer will take another 10 minutes to write a report about the accident.

The secondary focus will be on a faster response from the authorities in the UAE. The application will have a “HELP" button which will send current location to the concerned parties like the police and ambulance asking for help.
Some of the features that could be in the application are: the GPS Locator whose function is to locate the place of accident, the Automatic Date and Time Writer, the details of the 2 parties (offender and victim) on their car details and the plates, the Check box for injured people or Physical injures, the taking of pictures of the damaged parts of the car, and the Voice Print ( Voice Biometric Authentication System ) Testing of the device will be conducted within the school setting under the supervision of a mentor.
