TAKING YOUR TURN IN LIFE AND MINISTRY

The life of ministries revolves around ethics and ministerial etiquettes. If you are called by God, you are meant to take turn behind another man who is also called by God. Genuine calling and ministerial assignment do not separate us from everybody; it also does not unite us with everybody. Working for God must bring us to a place of ministerial submission. Elisha submitted to Elijah while Joshua served Moses. Jesus also attended the baptism of sinners because of the importance of submission. If your individual assignment does not give you a place in the midst of men, then it does not have a place in God. Those who desire to be served should endeavor to serve others.
There is time for everything in ministry. No matter how unique your ministry is, it must connect you to other men you must dovetail with. However, time controls ministerial turn. Time is a creation of God that prevents everything from happening at the same time. God protects young ministers from ministerial error and pitfalls as they take turn behind a more matured minister.
It is the lie of the devil to believe that the reason why you don’t have anybody you submit to is because you have a very unique assignment only you understand. Although the messianic ministry of Jesus was controversial, John understood it. We must not allow satan to disconnect us from those who we are meant to dovetail with. Two is better than one and a threefold cord is not easily broken. Every successful ministry thrives where it is hidden. The ministerial path we are meant to follow must connect us to other ministerial paths built by men who have gone before us. Avoiding everybody is as dangerous as accepting everybody.
Every God-given purpose is established through service. The honour of every servant is in his service. It is service that gives us turn in life and ministry. The top is strictly meant for servants who are established by the oath of service. Service provides us with the ministerial crown we are meant to wear.
