Tax Sentral - Tax Made Easy APPLICATION description
Digital Tax Management
TaxSentral application provides a platform to record and manage your personal and small business tax affairs. It is a free application and is easy to use without any limitations. It can be downloaded from Google Play and Apps Store.
The application is useful to those having a tax file and want to solve their annual tax filing issues. It also contains various information on tax laws and regulations which can be easily accessed with a simple and user friendly interface. This function is also very useful to students who may want to download the apps and use the tools available to access various tax information needed for their studies.
FEATURES:
Overview
At the moment, the application can be used for personal tax calculations of residents and non-residents. It can also be used to generate reports from the years of assessment 2015 to 2017 needed for Malaysian tax compliance. The tax file for the year of assessment for 2018 is in progress and will be made available soon.
Personal Tax Information Update
Personal and other information entered during settings will be used automatically for claiming reliefs in tax calculations without the need to update every year.
Sources of Income Information Update
Various sources of income, such as income for sole trader, partnership, employment and rental can be updated during settings and used during tax information update for respective tax years. Documents such as business registration certificate, employment letter and tenancy agreements can be uploaded for future reference with ease.
Updating Income
The application allows updating of multiple sources of income from businesses, partnerships, employment, rental, pension, royalties, interest etc and at the same time also provides tools to attach certain supporting documents for record keeping.
Claiming Personal Relief
Personal reliefs can be easily claimed without omission with simple flow. It also allows attachment of relevant supporting documents such as receipts, invoices, etc, which may be needed in future for tax audits conducted by the Inland Revenue Board.
Tax Position & Summary
Tax payment information can be updated and receipts/documents for taxes paid and refund from Inland Revenue Board can be uploaded for record keeping and the tax position for respective year is available for reference.
Tax Report
Upon updating of relevant tax information, the application will generate a PDF file for Tax Computation and Tax Form format for easy reference. These documents can be shared and will be automatically saved in Tax Records folder according to the year of assessment.
Guidance
Information is provided as guidance for critical field in order to assist the user to fill the correct information.
Tax Laws & Information
Various tax legislations and information such as Income Tax Act 1967, Real Property Gains Tax Act 1976, Stamp Act 1949, Income Tax Rates, Public Rulings on Income Tax, Case Laws, Double Tax Agreements etc can be obtained without much difficulties using the apps.

• The TaxSentral web version can be also accessed using devices such as tablets and computer. (for iOs in ipad)
• Automatic backup of data in cloud and is synchronized with other devices. It is accessable from anywhere and anytime.
