L’app consiste in un puzzle interattivo il cui scopo è quello di ricomporre, riordinando le varie tessere che lo compongono, l’immagine di un’opera di Stefano Arienti.
Ricomponi il puzzle trascinando le tessere nella posizione corretta, più sarai veloce a ricomporre il puzzle e più punti farai. Se ti trovi bloccato segui i suggerimenti che compariranno di tanto in tanto. Quando vedi due tessere lampeggiare in giallo scambiale tra loro.
Il gioco rispecchia l’esperienza di The Blank Benefit 2015, per cui l’artista Stefano Arienti ha realizzato un lavoro inedito composto da 48 pezzi unici. Ogni opera costituiva una delle tessere del puzzle. Durante la serata di Benefit dell’11 Dicembre 2015, nella cornice dello spazio ALT di Alzano Lombardo alla presenza dell’artista, il puzzle è stato assemblato per la prima volta coinvolgendo tutti gli ospiti, ciascuno in possesso di un frammento.
Le opere, dal formato di 48×48 cm ciascuna, riprendono la famosa serie di manifesti ottenuti con tessere per puzzle ideata dall’artista nell’89. Arienti interviene sui manifesti e sulle cartoline postali, all’epoca tra i veicoli primari della diffusione delle immagini.
La serata del Benefit è un appuntamento annuale organizzato da The Blank Contemporary Art, in cui un Guest Artist è chiamato a realizzare dei lavori in grado di interpretare le tematiche connesse allo spirito associativo. L'acquisto delle opere da parte dei sostenitori dell’associazione e degli amanti dell’arte contemporanea dà accesso alla serata del Benefit, che comprende un momento conviviale e uno più ludico e di intrattenimento.
La serata, volta al sostegno dell'associazione e all'implementazione delle attività della rete di The Blank per l'anno successivo, si è configurata nel tempo come un evento autonomo e riconoscibile.
L’artista Stefano Arienti è nato ad Asola (Mantova) nel 1961. Vive e lavora a Milano. Fin dall’inizio la sua ricerca rivolge l’attenzione ai processi di analisi e manipolazione delle immagini e dei materiali ripresi dal mondo reale e quotidiano che, attraverso un processo del tutto personale e sempre nuovo, si trasformano completamente rendendo spesso irriconoscibile l’originale. Partecipa a diverse mostre collettive diffondendo la sua opera anche in Europa: l’artista è a Londra e in Francia nel 1989. Nel 1989 afferma il suo interesse per i libri e il materiale cartaceo in genere: realizza ed espone presso lo Studio Guenzani a Milano una serie di manifesti ottenuti con tessere per puzzle, qui due anni dopo presenterà una serie di libri manipolati il cui testo è stato cancellato completamente.

Oltre a questa app, The Blank ha ideato, in concomitanza dei suoi eventi principali, una App dedicata, attraverso cui fruire digitalmente dei programmi, resi così sempre facilmente consultabili.
