The Gorilla APPLICATION description
Gorillas are included in the order of Primates and Pongidae family.
There are three gorilla subspecies, western gorillas, lace gorilla gorillas (45,000 heads), and mountain gorillas (650 birds).
Gorillas live in tropical forests in the central part of Africa and in the mountains to a height of more than 4,000 m.
Gorillas are the greatest apes. The weight of a male gorilla can reach 300 kg with a height of 2.30 m. The female gorilla is smaller. In the wild, gorillas can live up to 35 years.
There is no specific reproductive period for gorillas. After pregnancy for 9 months, the female gorilla gives birth to a baby that will continue to hold her mother's stomach for 2.5 months.
