The Queen of Modern Azerbaijani Music

Aygun Kazimova is considered the creator of the modern music of Azerbaijan. She is a very well known singer in Azerbaijan, Turkey and Russia. Her 2006 and 2007 solo concerts both in Moscow and Baku was a huge take off for her career. During 2002 - 2006 she was licensed to organize "Best Model of Azerbaijan" competition. Her "Hayat Ona Guzel" single was the most listened Turkey on iTunes. In 2012 Aygun Kazimova wrote and sang the anthem of FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2012. She is the first known singer from Azerbaijan who produced a duet with Hip-Hop legend Snoop Dogg. Her duet with Snoop Dogg "Coffee from Colombia" was number one hit in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Georgian and Russian charts. Aygun Kazimova official has 7 albums (unofficially 10), more than 50 clips. Aygun Kazimova Azerbaijan is known as the Queen of modern Azerbaijani music. Her controversial career and life wasn't as smooth as it seems. She is known as a brave, liberal women, always fighting for women's freedom and equal rights. Before her pop career she actually fought against Armenian occupation in the front line of Nagorno Karabakh.
