Treasure Ships

Through the Treasure Ships app, explore the history behind timeless artworks on display in the Treasure Ships exhibition at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, 10 October 2015 - 31 January 2016. This is the first exhibition in Australia to present the complex artistic and cultural interactions between the East and the West from the 1500s to the 1800s - a period known as the ‘Age of Spices’.

Journey by sea and navigate a map to discover and learn about selected artworks from the exhibition and complete mini trivia questions. These artworks are rarely-seen and are now viewable on your device, there are 14 included on your map to explore.
