"Sektörel Yayıncılık" kavramı köklü bir geçmişe sahip. Yayın yaptıkları sektörün bir nevi arşivini oluşturan sektörel yayınlar; üst düzey yetkilisinden çalışanına kadar sektörün her alanına ulaşarak bilgi dolaşımı sağlayabilme özellikleriyle ülkelerin ve sektörlerin gelişiminde önemli bir işleve sahiptir.
Ülkemizin sektörel yayıncılık alanında köklü oluşumlarından biri olan Teknik Yayıncılık Grubu 1988 yılında ihtiyaçtan doğdu. Ülkemiz doğalgazla henüz yeni tanışmıştı. Bu çevre dostu yakıt konusunda büyük bir bilgi eksikliği vardı. Özellikle teknik ve uygulama konularındaki bilgi ihtiyacını karşılamak amacıyla bir dergi yayınlanmasının çok gerekli olduğu vurgulanmaktaydı. Mesleki bir teknik dergi olarak tasarlanan Doğal Gaz Dergisi böylece doğdu.
Türkiye'de yaygın kullanımı henüz başlamamış ve sektörel oluşumu gerçekleşmemiş bir konuyla ilgili bir yayın çıkarmak gerçekten cesur bir girişimdi. Yayın hayatımız bu dergi ile başlayıp, büyük bir inanç ve kararlılıkla sürdü.
Sektörel yayıncılık alanında yoğunlaşan firmamız; olumlu geri dönüşlerin de etkisiyle kadrolarını genişleterek ve Doğal Gaz dergisiyle hitap ettiğimiz sektörün genel anlamda tesisat sektörü olması nedeniyle sektörel yayıncılık alanında ikinci meyvesini verdi. Tesisat Dergisi'nin ilk sayısı 1992 yılında yayımlandı.
İki yayınımız da başarı ile yoluna devam ederken; ülkemizin gelişmeye en çok ihtiyaç duyduğu alanlardan biri olan yangın ve güvenlik sektörleriyle ilgili yaptığımız ön çalışmalar; bizi yeni bir dergi tasarlamaya teşvik etti. Yangın ve Güvenlik Dergisi 1994 yılında doğdu. Yangın ve güvenlik sektöründe 1994 yılında başladığı yayın hayatına 20 yıllık tecrübesi ile damgasını vuran dergi, sektörün en eski yayını olma özelliğini taşımakta.
Enerji konusu dünyanın yakın gelecekte en önemli meselesi haline gelirken; bu sektörü yok saymamız mümkün değildi. 2000 yılında Enerji Dünyası Dergisigrubumuzun en genç üyesi oldu. Dergimiz başlık ve konu itibariyle çok geniş bir alana hitap ettiğinden sektörün önemli bileşenlerine hitap edecek konu ve dosyalar titizlikle seçilmekte. Sektörün sürekli gelişmesi ve değişmesi kurum, kuruluş ve bakanlığın faaliyetlerini takip etmeği ve gündemi yakalamayı gerektirmekte.
Artık grubumuz sadece yurt içinde değil, yurt dışında da tanınmaktaydı. Dünyanın önde gelen fuar ve seminerlerini takip etmemiz süreci hızlandırdı ve 2007 yılı başından bu yana, Avrupa'daki tüm tesisat mühendisleri derneklerinin üst kuruluşu olan REHVA için, öncelikle onun çeşitli ülkelerdeki üyelerine dağıtılmak üzere, uluslararası bir yayın olarak Rehva Journal, Teknik Sektör Yayıncılığı bünyesinde tüm dünyadaki okurlarına ulaştırılmakta.
Alanında tecrübesi 30 yıla yaklaşan Teknik Yayıncılık Grubu yeni yapılanma ile birlikte, ticari adını 1 Ekim 2013 tarihinden itibaren Teknik Sektör Yayıncılığı A.Ş.olarak değiştirdi.
Dergilerin yanı sıra, Türkiye'nin ilk Klima ve Soğutma Rehberi ile Yangın ve Güvenlik Rehberi'nin yayınlanması da yine Teknik Sektör Yayıncılığı A.Ş. tarafından gerçekleştirilmiş olup, son güncel bilgilerle sürekli olarak yenilenip, şirketimizin web sitesinde okurlarının yararına sunulmakta.
