Türlü ezgilerle söylenen anonim halk şiiri nazım biçimidir. Söyleyeni belli olan türküler de vardır. Halk edebiyatının en zengin alanıdır. Anadolu halkı bütün acılarını ve sevinçlerini türkülerle dile getirmiştir. Halkın derdini, neşesini, dünya görüşünü yansıtır. Hecenin değişik kalıplarıyla oluşturulur. Belli bir ezgi ile söylenir. Türküler bend ve kavuştak denen bölümlerden oluşur. Türkünün asıl sözlerinin yer aldığı bölümlere bend adı verilir. Her bendden sonra gelip bu bendleri birbirine bağlayan bölümlere bağlama veya kavuştak adı verilir. Türküler, diğer halk şiiri ürünlerinden ezgileriyle ayrılır.
