Undang-Undang Pemilu APPLICATION description
Setelah melalui pembahasan bersama antara Pemerintah dan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) Republik Indonesia, akhirnya Rancangan Undang-Undang (RUU) tentang Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) resmi diundangkan
menjadi Undang-Undang (UU) melalui Undang-Undang (UU) Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 tentang Pemilihan Umum (Lembaran Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 2017 Nomor 182). Hal tersebut disampaikan oleh Ketua Komisi
Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Arief Budiman pada saat penyelenggaraan Simulasi Nasional Pemungutan dan Penghitungan Suara Pemilu 2019 (19/8) kemarin.
UU Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 tersebut merupakan penyederhanaan dan penggabungan dari 3 (tiga) buah undang-undang sebelumnya, yakni Undang-Undang Nomor 42 Tahun 2008 tentang Pemilihan Umum Presiden dan Wakil Presiden, Undang-Undang Nomor 15 Tahun 2011 tentang Penyelenggara Pemilihan Umum, dan Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 2012 tentang Pemilihan Umum Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat, Dewan Perwakilan Daerah, dan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah.

After a discussion with the Government and the House of Representatives (DPR) of the Republic of Indonesia, finally Bill (the Bill) on Election (Election) was formally promulgated into Law (UU) through Law (UU) No. 7 of 2017 on Election (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Year 2017 Number 182). It was delivered by the Chairman of the General Elections Commission (KPU) Arief Budiman at the time of the implementation of the National Simulation Voting and Counting Election 2019 (19/8) yesterday.
Act No. 7 of 2017 is the simplification and amalgamation of three (3) pieces of the previous law, namely Law Number 42 Year 2008 regarding the General Election of President and Vice President, Law Number 15 Year 2011 regarding the General Election Organizer, and Law No. 8 of 2012 on the General Election of Members of the House of Representatives, Regional Representatives Council, and Regional Representatives Council.
