So, according to the plot of the game, your character participates in a research expedition aboard a huge liner. The ship cruised peacefully along the previously unexplored waters of the Atlantic Ocean, as suddenly a monstrous explosion occurred. The ship sank, all the crew members were killed, but your hero manages to escape with the help of a miniature submarine, which played the role of lifeboat on the liner.

The causes of the disaster are unclear to you, but you do not have time to understand them, since you have a more serious task - to survive. Edible supplies on board your submarine a little, so you need to act without delay. But almost immediately there is another problem - the boat ran out of fuel. But as soon as the remnants of the smoke that has risen from the explosion of your ship are scattered, another ship is seen nearby. After several hours of weary waiting, it becomes clear that this ship is standing still and does not appear to be moving. You have only one thing - to try to get to it by swimming.

On the ship you discovered, however, there is not a single living soul. Reserves of provisions and fuel, alas, there do not exceed your own. The task of surviving until the arrival of help is becoming more difficult.

During one of the underwater hunts (your hero is an experienced diver) in the hope of obtaining seafood you stumble upon a strange underwater base, which also looks uninhabited. It becomes - to look for the key to salvation follows under water.

Explore the underwater grottoes and caves, find new traces of people here, turn ocean inhabitants into food - in short, do everything so that your life does not end in the middle of the open sea. You can replenish your supplies on that very abandoned ship, so try to count your sorties so that you do not sail away from it too far. Otherwise, your Subnautica adventure will not last long.
