Utah Fly Fishing

From the main menu screen you can navigate to various fly fishing resources to gain information to prepare for your outings. Get up-to-date stream flow data, weather forecasts, seasonal entemology information by riparian habitat and local fly fishing reports.

When you are not on the river or floating in your pontoon boat, there are buttons leading to fly tying tips, animated fishing knot demonstrations and access to a local fly fishing forum where fellow anglers exchange ideas and gear.

From the main menu screen, users can slide their finger from left to right across the screen to gain access to the Utah Fly Fishing community sign up page. Use any email account or your Twitter account to sign up and don't worry, we do not have access to this information and even if we did, we wouldn't use it. Your privacy is the utmost of importance to the development team.

Once signed up, use this portion of your app to connect with fellow anglers. There's a chat room where you can ask for advice, sell or trade gear, whatever you want as long as you respect other users. Create an avatar and a unique username for privacy and look for the "v" settings carrot on the top of the screen to log out and unselect user activity tracking if you would like. There is also a GPS on and off selection if you don't want your location data updated at any given moment.

Finally, there is a QR code reader designed to allow you to go into participating outfitter retail stores and scan a QR code for local offers and promotions. We will inform you through the social media portal for details!
