V-Soft Cares

V-Soft Cares is honored to support the great organization of Active Heroes this year. Since its inception in 2011, Active Heroes has adapted programs to identify the triggering points associated with veteran suicide. The organization was founded by Troy Yocum, who lost his WWII veteran grandfather to suicide. It soon became Yocum’s personal mission to help struggling veterans and their family members to reduce veteran suicide numbers. What started with a 7,800 mile walk across 37 states to raise awareness and funds, which raised $1.3 million for military families, turned into Yocum’s charity, Active Heroes, to continue a mission to end veteran suicide.

You will have the chance to hear stories from some of Active Heroes members and staff and enjoy a day on the course at Valhalla Golf Club in support of this truly amazing organization.
