Via Dinarica Trail

Welcome to the Via Dinarica Trail App, a place where you can find information about different tours, accommodation and offers designed to experience the Dinaric Alps, but also about developing long distance trails connecting the most attractive locations in this region. Note that you can also download the maps, trail descriptions, GPS tracks, and check current weather conditions for a particular location. What is the Via Dinarica? The Via Dinarica is a mega trail that extends from Slovenia to Albania. The largest part of the trail slices diagonally from southeast to northwest. The mountains here offer superb hiking with dozens of challenging routes that start from as low as 200 m and ascend to the rugged karst peaks well over 2,200 meters. The White Trail is the main trail along the entire length of the Via Dinarica that follows the natural flow of the highest peaks of the Dinaric Alps. The White Trail includes the highest peaks in each respective country. Although there are a plethora of activities along this head trail, such as mountain biking and rafting, it’s main function is as a hiking trail. Green and Blue Trails are still under development, however, all stages that are completed will be available here in 'Tours' module. The Green Trail is made for two-wheeled trail blazers with hundreds of kilometers of well-maintained bike trails. Hiking and walking, coupled with the rich wildlife of this eastern front, make it a great option for soft adventure. There are many useful information out here, so take your time to explore the app.
