Vijay Nahata APPLICATION description
After a distinguished and spotless career in the civil services for 33 years,I retired as divisional commissioner, Konkan. Looking at my experience as a senior retired IAS officer, I had many lucrative offers from various multinational companies. However,working on senior positions in the government service,I had acquainted myself with difficulties of the common man and their expectations.
My society gave me honour, prestige and power. With an aim to extend benefits of my knowledge and experience to the society, I had joined Shiv Sena, a party that strives for solving the problem of the common man, a long ago. . The party chief Honourable Uddhavji Thackeray gave me the prestigious post of deputy leader in the party giving me strength in my mission of social service. During the Lok Sabha elections, Shiv Sena candidate Rajan Vichare won by a huge margin of 2.82 lakh votes and I was fortunate enough to make a small contribution in that election.
