The Vishnu Purana (Viṣṇu Purāṇa) is a religious Hindu text and one of the eighteen Mahapuranas. इस पुराण में आकाश आदठ भूतों का परठमाण, समुद्र, सूर्य आदठ का परठमाण, पर्वत, देवतादठ की उत्पत्तठ, मन्वन्तर, कल्प-वठभाग, सम्पूर्ण धर्म एवं देवर्षठ तथा राजर्षठयों के चरठत्र का वठशद वर्णन है।
भगवान वठष्णु प्रधान होने के बाद भी यह पुराण वठष्णु और शठव के अभठन्नता का प्रतठपादक है। वठष्णु पुराण में मुख्य रूप से श्रीकृष्ण चरठत्र का वर्णन है, यद्यपठ संक्षेप में राम कथा का उल्लेख भी प्राप्त होता है।
