Visual Acuity Charts APPLICATION description
To help you to detect early symptoms of nearsightedness or myopia, this app reassembles Snellen Chart, Tumbling E Chart and Landolt C Chart traditionally in print, with randomly generated optotypes according to the test distance in metric units or imperial units.
To provide conveniences to visual acuity tests in various environments anytime, this app supports 3 modes:
1. "Doctor" and "Patient".
2. Self-diagnosis with a mirror.
3. Self-diagnosis within arm's reach
Remarks:
While this app may replace Snellen Chart, E-Chart and C-Chart in print, it cannot replace doctors and optometrists who would carry out comprehensive tests for your eyes. While generally you are not going to visit an optometrist monthly, however, you can test your visual acuity frequently with this app. For example, if you have young children to take care of, you may test their visual acuity monthly, fortnightly or weekly, so you can take preventive measures to stop their visual acuity from getting worse.
