Waste Blitz is a 3D Multiplayer Multiplatformed Racing Game

Waste Blitz is created by a group of University of Mindanao students who aspire to be game developers. The game is for compliance in the course they are taking up.
The game, Waste Blitz. is created to improve the awareness of the students in respect of waste segregation. It is to train the students to quickly recognize that green bins are for Biodegradable material, yellow bins are for Non-biodegradable materials and red bins are for Recyclable materials.
The students are asked to play as a car driver that runs in a race track inspired by the buildings of the University of Mindanao Matina Campus. The race track has trashes scattered along it and the students have the option of picking these trashes up. The students have the option of changing the color of the car which is related to the color of the trash bins provided for segregating trash. To pick-up the right trash with the correct color will result to a boost in speed, otherwise the car will decelerate. In order to create a more competitive feel, the game allows the student to play with their fellow schoolmates. The game runs in an iOS and android OS.
