Why Don’t We is a five man band that consists of Daniel Seavey, Zach Herron, Corbyn Besson, Jonah Marais, and Jack Avery. Daniel Seavey was a contestant on season 14 of American Idol. Jonah, Corbyn,
Jack, and Zach all gained a following over social media where they would sing and make live videos for their fans.
Why Don’t We posted their first video on the bands. It was a static video with their song “On My Way” playing. It was captionless. They released their debut EP in 2016 called “Only The Beginning” and their first single “Taking You.” Why Don’t We has a music video for all of the songs on “Only The Beginning” except “On My Way” and “Perfect.” Their music video for “Nobody Gotta Know” was directed by the vlogger Logan Paul.
Their 2nd EP “Something Different” came out April 20th. Why Don’t We released this EP’s single “Something Different” Friday, April 7. Logan Paul also directed its music video that has 4.7M views (as of May 2017) The boys came up with their own dance move in one of the songs called ‘Smooth Step.’
