Harwich is a sea port. A small town with a big history, which it is far too modest about. It is the home and starting point of the Pilgrim Fathers voyage to America in 1620. A full scale sea worthy replica of the ship, The Mayflower, is being built to sail the Atlantic to note the 400th anniversary of the voyage in 2020.
