WiScanifi APPLICATION description
WiScanifi requires computer software in order to run. The software is available at

WiScanifi is an application that turns your phone into a wireless barcode scanner (via your wireless router)! You will be able to scan a barcode on your phone and it will send directly to your computer and type it out.
Features:
Scan a barcode and have it immediately typed on your computer!
Supports all barcode types!
Supports Windows, Mac, and Linux!
Retain history of all your scans to be able to send them again at a later point in time (one scan or all scans at once)
Automatically type a new line, tab, or no key at all after each scan
Offline mode allows you to scan when you are not near your computer and send all data via history when you are near your computer!
Continuous Scan mode allows your computer to open up the scanner right after it finished one preventing you from having to click a button like other apps!
Automatically discover your computer on the same wireless network (or manually enter the computer connection data).

Note:
The easiness to scan a barcode depends on your phone's camera hardware. The better the hardware the quicker the barcodes will scan (also the smaller the barcodes you can scan).
There is an automatic detection method built in to find your computer. However, it doesn't always work with some phone manufacturers (HTC is notorious for this). Also sometimes routers (depending on who makes them) will also not play nicely with this feature. If this is the case then you must enter connection data under manual connection. The data you need to enter is available on the computer software.
Permission required:
INTERNET - Allows the software to connect to your computer to send it data
CAMERA - Uses your camera to scan barcodes
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE - Allows the application to detect if you are connect via wireless internet
CHANGE_WIFI_STATE - The application will automatically enable wireless during use if it is not on when you start the application
