PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, a leading Industry Chamber of India, ever since its inception in 1905, has been an active participant in the India Growth Story through its Advocacy Role for the Policy Makers and Regulators of the Country. Regular interactions, Seminars, Conference and Conclaves allow healthy and constructive discussions between the Government, Industry and International Agencies bringing out the Vitals for Growth. As a true representative of the Industry with a large membership base of 50000 direct and indirect members, PHD Chamber has forged ahead leveraging its legacy with the Industry knowledge across sectors (58 Industry verticals being covered through Expert Committees), a deep understanding of the Economy at large and the populace at the micro level.
About Sports & Youth Affairs Committee:
We have a dynamic Sports and Youth Affairs Committee, under the legendary leadership of Mr. Kapil Dev as Chairman of the committee. The eminent & reputed Co-Chairmen (s) include Mr. Madan Lal, Member- 1983 Cricket World Cup Team, Mr. Vijender Singh, Indian Professional Boxer, Mr. Arun Pandey, Mr. Arshad Nizam Shawl and Mr. Satish Girotra. The Committee via its programs aims to disseminate information regarding the Government initiated schemes, incentives & programs through a planned engagement between the three important sectors i.e. Youth Affairs and Sports, Culture and Tourism in close cooperation with the Government and the Corporate Sector.
Delivering multiple roles effortlessly every single day, women are undoubtedly the backbone of any society. Doting daughters, caring mothers, competent colleagues and a wide range of many other roles are played by women around us flawlessly and with grace.
Celebrating the spirit of women and the momentous occasion of International Women’s Day (March 08), PHD Chamber Sports and Youth Affairs Committee is organizing the PHD CHAMBER WOMEN CAR RALLY 2018 on 30th & 31st March 2018 from Delhi to Jaipur with the theme “WHEELING THE WOMEN TO POWER”.
The Rally will be an exciting opportunity to explore the heritage, culture and tourism of the state of Rajasthan by rallying through the interiors, walking through the heritage, living the royalty, experiencing folk dances, rajasthani cuisines and much more. Supporting the Swatchch Paryavaran campaign, we would also be organizing a tree plantation drive on the Rally route.
Additionally, Women Car Rally has become an integral part of our lives over the years. We have broken the myth about women and driving, and have also reinforced our passion and skills which few women never knew that they were existent in themselves. We are continuing to grow year after year empowering the spirit of womanhood. Women from varied walks of life come forward to showcase the true drive in them. Women Car Rally drives through beautiful scenic route and culminate with a grand award ceremony where the participants let their hair down and celebrate their proud achievement.
