YouSeaMe is the mobile app dedicated to the the safety of those who take part in maritime events or regattas. The service allows people to ask for first aid at sea in case of emergency. In circumstances of troubles for the crew or boat failure, you can send an help request by pushing the ''SOS'' button: thanks to the real time geo-location service, rescue boats will be able to locate you and proceed to manage the reported emergency.
If you are a skipper or a crew member in trouble - when sending out the SOS - you can add additional information and more details of your rescue request, by attaching photos, voice messages and written notes.
In order to run the app, it is required to allow the geolocation of your device, register to the service and proceed to log in.
YouSeaMe is an help for the safety of all sailors because it allows to optimize the rescue timing and it makes the SOS request easy and intuitive, even in extreme urgency conditions.
The download of the app is completely free, no payment is required.
