YRT On-Request is a reimagined way to get around York Region - a ridesharing service that’s smart, easy, affordable, and green. You can book a ride between your home and the closest YRT bus stop or preselected location in your service area.
With a few taps, book an On-Request ride in the app and our technology will pair you with the closest vehicle to bring you to your location.
How it works:
- Book a ride on your phone
- Get picked up at your curb
- Save money by paying with PRESTO, YRT Pay App or Transit App
- Get dropped off at your chosen location within the service area or the closest bus stop where you can use your two-hour transfer on other YRT routes
