الفارابي

ولد عام 260 هـ/874 م في فاراب في اقليم تركستان وتوفي عام 339 هـ/950م . فيلسوف مسلم اشتهر بإتقان العلوم الحكمية وكانت له قوة في صناعة الطب.

ولد الفارابي في مدينة فاراب، ولهذا اشتهر باسمه. نسبة إلى المدينة التي عاش فيها . كان أبوه قائد جيش، وكان ببغداد مدة ثم انتقل إلى سوريا وتجول بين البلدان وعاد إلى مدينة دمشق واستقر بها إلى حين وفاته. يعود الفضل إليه في إدخال مفهوم الفراغ إلى علم الفيزياء. تأثر به كل من ابن سينا وابن رشد.

تنقل في أنحاء البلاد وفي سوريا، قصد حلب وأقام في بلاط سيف الدولة الحمداني فترة ثم ذهب لدمشق وأقام فيها حتى وفاته عن عمر يناهز 80 عاماً ودفن في دمشق، ووضع عدة مصنفات وكان أشهرها كتاب حصر فيه أنواع وأصناف العلوم ويحمل هذا الكتاب إحصاء العلوم.

سمي الفارابي "المعلم الثاني" نسبة للمعلم الأول أرسطو والإطلاق بسبب اهتمامه بالمنطق لأن الفارابي هو شارح مؤلفات أرسطو المنطقية.

He was born in 260 AH / 874 AD in Farab in Turkistan province and died in 339 AH / 950 AD. Muslim philosopher known for his perfectly wisdom and science was his strength in the medicine industry.

His father was an army commander, was in Baghdad for then go to Syria and roam between countries and returned to the city of Damascus and settled there until his death. Credited with introducing the concept of vacuum to the knowledge of physics. Influenced by all of Ibn Sina and Ibn Rushd.

The movement across the country and in Syria, in order to Aleppo and stayed in the court of Sayf al-Dawla period and then went to Damascus and lived there until his death at the age of 80 years and was buried in Damascus, and the development of several works and the best known book inventory of the types and varieties of Science and holds this book census science.

Farabi called "second teacher" ratio for the first teacher Aristotle and all because of his interest in logic because Farabi is explainer works of Aristotle's logical.
