, هذا الشيخ الجليل الذي كانت بدايته في عام 2003 حيث قدم قصيدة بعنوان (أيا من يدعي الفهم) وكانت أول قصيدة إنشادية يقدمها ولم يتوقع أحد هو نفسه النجاح الذي لاقته الأنشودة والإعجاب بأداءه في أول أنشودة له، وهذه كانت الشرارة الأولى لانطلاقته في سماء الإنشاد. وبعد نجاح هذه القصيدة قرر أن يطرح ألبومًا إنشاديًا، وقد حمل عنوان " عيون الأفاعي " فكان هذا الألبوم هو الأول في مسيرته الإنشادية. وسجل قبل ذلك منظومات شعرية ومتون علمية في القرآت العشر في عام 2002 متن الشاطبية في القرآءآت السبع ثم سجل الدرة في عام 2003 وفي 2006 متن السمنودية المتن الجامع في التجويد .

كما حفظ القرآن الكريم كاملاً في عامين 1992 - 1994 م ثم درس القراءات العشر و التفسير بكلية القرآن الكريم و الدراسات الإسلامية أول إصدار قرآني له ( غافر و فصلت و الشورى 1416 هـ ) أصدر ختمتين للقرآن الكريم ( المصحف المرتل 1424 هـ - ختمة كاليفورنيا 1430 هـ ) و ختمة مرتقبة برواية ورش عن نافع

وقام الشيخ العفاسي بإصدار عدة ألبومات
