ストーリーは・・・
ある夏の日――
突然、東京を襲った大規模な爆弾テロ。
平穏なこの国を眠りから覚ました事件の犯人は、
たったふたりの少年だった――。
”スピンクス”と名乗る犯人たちの、
日本中を巻き込んだ壮大なゲームがいま、始まる。

青森の核燃料再処理施設が謎の二人組の襲撃を受け、あるものが強奪された。
それから半年後の夏の日。東京の高校に二人の少年・九重新と久見冬二が転入してきた。
その高校の女子高生・三島リサは二人に興味を持ち、二人も彼女を気にかけていた。
その頃、警視庁の窓際族の刑事・柴崎健次郎は奇妙なネット動画を目にする。
動画に映るスピンクス1号･2号を名乗る若者曰く、
「新宠は午後三時から闇に包まれ、所によりでーっかい火花が上がるでしょう」と。
その砌日、九重たちの高校が見学していた都庁が大規模な爆弾テロに襲われた。
その犯人こそ、九重と久見の二人によるものだった。
そして、そこから空前の大事件が続くことになり、彼らの姠を目の当たりにしたリサは彼らに関わっていきます。
