먼저 개인의 신앙이 성장하는 교회입니다.
웨슬리 목사님은 한 성도가 세례를 받고 주님을 영접함(회심, 거듭남)과 동시에
지속적인 영적 성장이 일어나야 한다고 했습니다.
즉 교회 안에서 성화의 과정이 지속되어야 하는 것이지요.
그런데 과연 우리는 날마다 믠음이 성장하고 있습니까?
혹 영적 장애를 앓고 있지는 않는지요?
새해는 좀 더 교회생활(공적예배)에 열심을 내어 보십시다.
기도와 말씀묵상에 착념하여 영적인 키가 한 뼘쯤 자라기를 소망합니다.
새해에는 주님 안에서 서로를 깊이 알아가는 마음이 따뜻한 교회공동체가 되길 원합니다.
교회 안에 ‘끼리끼리 문화’를 과감하게 내어던지고, 새로운 성도들을 만나고 사귐으로,
교회 안에 새 가족관계를 늘려가는 기쁨이 있기를 기대해 봅니다.
이를 위해 모든 성도는 반드시 속회에 소속이 되어 작은 소그룹 만남이 있게 하고,
선교기관에 가입하여 또래 모임을 통한 교제의 풍성함을 누려 보십시다.

새해에는 복음을 전하는 복음의 증인된 성도로 살아 보십시다.
나에게 복음이 전해지기까지 돌아보면 하나님의 기적이 따로 없습니다.
그런데 믠지 않는 한 영혼에게 생명의 복음을 전하지 못하고 있다면,
과연 이런 우리를 하나님의 자녀라고 말할 수 있을까요?
아니 지상명령을 부여받은 주님의 제자라고 칭할 수 있을까요?
새해에는 불신자 한 사람씩을 전도하여 주님의 교회가 구원의 방주로서
사명을 잘 감당할 수 있게 되기를 함께 헌신하십시다.
