Adventure of the Lion’s Mane

The Adventure of the Lion’s Mane (by Arthur Conan Doyle) is presented by Folium Partners. There were 56 original stories written by Conan Doyle and published in The Strand magazine between 1891 and 1929. The stories are divided among five series. This is from the fifth and final series, “The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes”.

Another adventure related by Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock Holmes is in retirement, on a bee farm. One day while walking on the beach with a friend, they see Fitzroy McPherson, science master at the local school, who dies a terrible death right in front of their very eyes. Ian Murdoch, the mathematical coach, is suspected. Was Murdoch really responsible? Who was the murderer?
