Scientific research
Cognitive neuroscience shows how specific exercises to perform on a computer stimulate brain plasticity, i.e. the brain’s ability to change, at any age. Kids, young adults, and older adults can improve their mental performance if they carry out specific effective exercises. Recommended protocol
The most effective protocols for cognitive training show the following features. Training has to be performed when your mind is fresh, able to focus and free from external interferences, but also without any tension or effort, thus trying to relax while you’re focusing. Choose one or more exercises to train on according to the cognitive functions you would like to improve. Try to spend each day ten to thirty minutes on each exercise. A complete training on each exercise should last at least four weeks.
Expected benefits
If you follow the recommended protocol, you will see improvements in the trained cognitive functions in just few days. A month of training brings you positive effects that can last in time, although you stop training. However, we recommend you to occasionally get back to the exercises to test you performance level and stay in practice.
