Fikih Ringkas Syafi'i tentang Puasa APPLICATION description
Dalil Kewajiban Puasa
Allah Ta’ala berfirman (yang artinya), “Hai orang-orang yang beriman, diwajibkan atas kamu berpuasa sebagaimana diwajibkan atas orang-orang sebelum kamu agar kamu bertakwa.” (QS. Al Baqarah: 183). Kata ‘kutiba’ dalam ayat ini berarti diwajibkan.
Dari hadits shahih, dari ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar, Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda, “Islam dibangun di atas lima perkara: (1) bersaksi bahwasanya tidak ada sesembahan yang berhak disembah selain Allah dan Muhammad adalah utusan Allah, (2) mendirikan shalat, (3) menunaikan zakat, (4) haji, (5) puasa Ramadhan.” (Muttafaqun ‘alaih). Bahkan ada dukungan ijma’ (konsensus ulama) yang menyatakan wajibnya puasa Ramadhan.

Allaah says (which means): "O ye who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that ye righteous." (QS. Al-Baqarah: 183). The word 'kutiba' in this verse means required.
From the hadeeth, from 'Abdullah bin' Umar, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Islam is built on five cases: (1) bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, (2) establish prayer, (3) give charity, (4) the Hajj, (5) of Ramadan. "(Agreed alaih). In fact there is support ijma '(consensus of scholars) who stated the obligatory fasting of Ramadan.
