Kewajiban Suami Terhadap Istri

Kewajiban paling besar dari seorang suami terhadap istrinya adalah menjaga istrinya agar selamat dari api neraka. Berikut ini ayat Al Quran terkait dan beberapa penjelasan dari hadis yang terkait.

1. Allah Taala berfirman yang bermaksud:
‘Hai orang-orang yang beriman! Jagalah dirimu dan ahli keluargamu dari api Neraka.” (At Tahrim : 6)

2. Allah Taala berfirman yang bermaksud:
“Perintahkanlah keluargamu agar melakukan sholat.” (Thaha:132)
