Violetta es una telenovela juvenil argentina transmitida por Disney Channel Latinoamérica desde el 14 de mayo del 2012 hasta su final el 6 de febrero del 2015. La serie fue la primera producción de
este tipo para el canal. Fue protagonizada por un elenco multinacional liderado por la actriz y cantante argentina Martina Stoessel y Jorge Blanco como co-protagonista; también contó con la actuación
de Mercedes Lambre como antagonista principal.
La serie narra la historia de Violetta, una adolescente musicalmente talentosa que regresa a Buenos Aires, su ciudad natal, donde encuentra el amor y descubre su vocación por la música.
Fue emitida en América Latina, Europa, Israel, Medio Oriente y África. Se convirtió en la primera co-producción que se llevó a cabo entre las filiales de Disney presentes en dichas regiones. La serie fue grabada en alta definición.
La primera temporada de Violetta fue estrenada en 2012 por Disney Channel. En 2013 se estrenó la segunda temporada y en verano (hemisferio norte) del 2014 se estrenó la tercera y última temporada. La serie contó con dos giras internacionales por toda América Latina y Europa. Más tarde, Disney anunció que la serie tendría una secuela en forma de película, Tini: El gran cambio de Violetta, para cerrar con la era de Violetta. La película sería el adiós definitivo de la serie y todos sus personajes. Se estrenó el 6 de mayo de 2016 en todos los cines de Europa y el 2 y 3 de junio en Latinoamérica. La película es protagonizada por Martina Stoessel, Jorge Blanco y Adrián Salzedo, también cuenta con la participación de Mercedes Lambre, María Clara Alonso, Diego Ramos, Ángela Molina y la actuación especial de Sofia Carson. El 3 de octubre de 2016 comenzó a retransmitirse en Disney Channel solo en Argentina pero debido a la buena acogida que recibió fue liberada para toda Latinoamérica.
El tema de apertura de todas las temporadas de la serie es "En mi mundo", cantada por Martina Stoessel, pero con el lanzamiento internacional han surgido otras versiones como la versión francesa, con videoclip, cantada por Cynthia y titulada "Dans mon monde" pero que no es usada para los créditos de apertura; en Brasil el tema oficial de los créditos de apertura es cantado por Mayra Arduini y se titula "Pelo mundo"; en Italia se grabó una versión titulada "Nel mio mondo", con videoclip, y fue cantada por la misma Martina Stoessel pero no es usada en los créditos de apertura; en Rusia se conocen dos versiones para los créditos de apertura: en el Reino Unido la versión que se usa para la apertura del programa es cantada por Stoessel y se titula "In my own world". Dicha versión no está completa siendo esta "This is my world", la cual tiene una letra diferente y es interpretada por Maggie McClure. También surgieron las versiones escandinavas: en Suecia se tituló "I min värld" y fue interpretada por Linnéa Källström; en Noruega se llamó "I min verden" y fue interpretada por Celine; en Dinamarca tuvo el nombre de "Verden ligger åben nu" y fue interpretada por Clara Rugaard.
