My Overall Performance Score

This is a measure that can be used by parents, students, schools, teachers and counselors to determine the Overall Performance of a student. It is a special formula created by the Royalty Approach to Education (RATE) that combines the Academic, Conduct and Effort grades for the students. After entering all the grades, the OPScore is calculated and returns a number between 1 and 5 (1 being bad and 5 being good).. That single number gives an indication of how well the student is doing overall in Academics, Conduct and Effort for all the classes. An OPScore of 4.48 corresponds to an "A" (Level 4). This means that the student is doing very well in all the subjects. Parents, students and teachers do not have to worry. An OPScore of 3.1 corresponds to a "C" (Level 2) and means that the overall performance is only satisfactory. It might be time to look into what the problems are for each subject area. Students scoring below a 2.1 with a grade of "F" (Level 0) immediately alerts students, parents, school and teachers that something is seriously wrong in virtually all the subjects the student is taking and there needs to be some urgent and immediate action taken. == The OPScore can be taken at any time during the school year, but especially at the end of the marking (grading) periods. With one overall number (and grade) the progress that the student has made throughout the school year can easily be monitored.
