Tú eres a quien venera la Santa Iglesia como su guardián y su protector, a ti te ha confiado el Señor las almas redimidas para introducirlas en la felicidad del Cielo. Ruega al Dios de Paz para que aplaste a Satanás bajo nuestros pies, a fin de despojarle de todo poder, de retener cautivos a los hombres y de perjudicar a la Iglesia. Dígnate presentar al Altísimo nuestras oraciones para que prontamente desciendan sobre nosotros las misericordias del Señor, y vence a la antigua serpiente que es el diablo o Satanás, para precipitarlo encadenado a los abismos, de manera que no pueda ya jamás seducir a las naciones.
