Wing Chun Hokay Bart Chum Dao APPLICATION description
Sifu Ho Kay started to learn Wing Chun in 1970 under the tutelage of his Sifu Ip Chun and continued to be his disciple right up to the present time.
In 1990, he helped in the formation of the Ving Tsun (same word as Wing Chun, but 70's pronunciation) Athletic Association. This was situated at Sha Tin Cultural Hall in Kowloon, Hong Kong and
still is. During this period he had assisted his Sifu in the teaching aspect of the art, and consequently helped a lot of his students.
At present, Sifu Ho Kay is one of the main committee members of the above Association and currently holds the following certificates:
Ip Chun's Wing Chun Global Recognised Instructors.
Ving Tsun Athletic Association Recognised Instructors.
Recognised Referee for the Hong Kong United Wing Chun competition and competition coach.
In 2000, Sifu Ho Kay began teaching in Mainland China, by 2005 under the encouragement of his Sifu Ip Chun, he went to the UK to presents a number of seminars which were very well received.
About 2 years ago, in order to promote Wing Chun further, Sifu Ho Kay opened his local club at Tsing Yi under the banner of "Ho Kay Tsing Yi Ving Tsun Academy'which includes elderly and children
classes as well as his regular students.
In 2009, every year Sifu Ho Kay assisted the Wing Chun Summer course as one of the instructor in a village cultural hall, Foshan, China.
