אדורה

אֲדוֹרָה היא התנחלות ויישוב קהילתי בהר חברון מערבית לעיר חברון. שייכת למועצה אזורית הר חברון ומשתייכת מבחינה אידאולוגית למשקי חירות-בית"ר. היא הוקמה בשנת 1982 כהיאחזות נח"ל ואוזרחה בשנת 1984.
שם היישוב, שנקרא באופן זמני מצפה אמציה, נגזר משם העיר הקדומה אדורים, אשר נזכרת ברשימת ערי ממלכת יהודה שביצר המלך רחבעם[1][2], ואשר שמה נשמר גם בשם הכפר הערבי דוּרָא, המצוי מדרום-מזרח להתנחלות.
היישוב שוכן מעל אפיקו התלול של נחל גוברין, ולמרגלותיו נמצאים עין אלפארעה וח'רבת אלפארעה, המזוהה עם פִּרְעָתוֹן הנזכרת באזור זה בספר מכבים.
היישוב מונה כ-100 משפחות, הרכב אוכלוסייה מגוון דתיים וחילונים משפחות ותיקות לצד זוגות צעירים Adorh is a community settlement and the Hebron hills west of the city of Hebron.
