Video çekme fikri nasıl ve ne zaman geldi aklımıza ?
Video çekme 2005 yıllarında yiğit ali muganın cep telefonuyla çektiği sinba diye saçma bir videoyla geldi aklımıza, bu videoda stop motion kullanmışdı arkadasımız yani durdur devam et olayı montajsız bir sekilde ve bu olay beni (Murat ÖZBEY) çok etkiledi… sonra zaman içinde montaj için programları araştırmaya başladım..
2007 yıllarında “movie marker’la” basladıgım bu yolculukda 2 ay sonra ullead video studyo kullanmaya basladım daha sonrasında daha etkili bir kurgu programı aradım 2009 yıllarında “sony vegas” programını keşvettim ve kullanmaya basladım..
2008 yıllarında filmlere görsel efekt nasıl ekleniyor diye merakım vardı, bu yüzden araşdırdım önce “fx home” programını keşvettim indirdim ve ilk 2 ay kullanamadım çünkü programdan hiç bişi anlamıyordum. Her neyse 2 ay sonunda programı iyicene araştırdıktan sonra programı çözdüm sonunda. aradan 4 ay geçince program hatalar vermeye basladı ve google’dan araştırmalar yaparak “Adobe after effects” programını keşfettim, bu programı indirdim ilk arayüzüne baktım, sadece mal mal baktım… ? çünkü program çok büyük kapasiteliydi ve ben hiç bir şey anlamıyordum.
“After effects” programını öğrenmek için arastırmalar yaptım ve bir çok forumlardan döküman ders indirmeye başladım, bu programı öğrenmemde büyük yardımı olan “Ali Haydar Güleç’e” Teşekkürler 1 2 yıl sonra after effects ve sony vegas programlarında baya ilerleme kaydettim. Artık hazırdım bir çok işlemi yapabiliyordum ve kısa film işine girmeye karar verdik.

BaboFilms Nedir Nereden Geldi ?
BaboFilms ismi aklımıza nasıl geldi, öncelikle 2008 yıllarında kısa film tarzı bir şeyler çekiyorduk ve isimsiz bir şekilde internete atıyorduk, sonunda bir isim arayışına geçtik.
Daha sonra kendimize nasıl bir isim verelim diye tartışırken kendimize şu soruyu sorduk: Biz kimiz ve nasıl bir ekibiz? bu sorudan yola çıkarak “BaboFilms” İsmini bulduk

Neden “BaboFilms”?
İsimdende anlaşılacağı üzere bizler anadolunun bağrından kopup gelen bir ekibiz her ne kadar Amerikan standardında absürt komedi işler yapıyor olsak da içimizdeki anadolu insanını hiç bir zaman öldürmedik!

“BaboFilms” Nedir?
“Babo” isimden de anlaşılacağı gibi “Babo”, “Baba’nın” kıro versiyonudur =) “Films” türkçe karşılığı “Film” “S” takısı ile ingilizce olan bizlerin amerika kafasını ortaya çıkaran bir ektir.
