כמהין

כְּמֵהִין הוא מושב עובדים שיתופי במועצה אזורית רמת נגב, באזור ישובי פתחת ניצנה, 70 ק"מ דרומית לבאר שבע. המושב הוקם בשנת 1988. בסמוך למושב נמצאת שמורת הטבע חולות עגור. מקור שם המושב בפטריית הכמהין. כמהין הוא מושב בעל אופי חקלאי חילוני המונה כ-50 משפחות. בשנת 1992 הפך כמהין ממושב למושב עובדים השייך לתנועת המושבים, מאז החל בתנופת קליטה של זוגות ומשפחות צעירות. כבכל מושב כל משפחה היא יחידה כלכלית עצמאית, יחד עם זאת קיים דגש על הפן הקהילתי. חלקן הגדול של המשפחות במושב עוסקות בחקלאות. במקרים רבים משלבת המשפחה משק חקלאי ועבודה במקצועות חופשיים (עבודה-סוציאלית, תיירות, הנדסה, עריכת-דין, חינוך והוראה, כלכלה). החקלאות במושב היא חקלאות מתקדמת ומיועדת לייצוא.
