מושב ציפורי משתייך לתנועת המושבים בתחום המועצה האזורית עמק יזרעאל, ממוקם כ-7 ק''מ מזרחית לצומת המוביל. המושב נוסד בשנת 19499 בסיוע הסוכנות היהודית בסמוך למצודת ציפורי העתיקה, כיום גן לאומי
ציפורי.
השם ציפורי מופיע כבר בתקופת המשנה ומסמל את ישיבתה של ציפורי בראש ההר כציפור. עד המאה הרביעית שמשה ציפורי מרכז רוחני יהודי חשוב. ציפורי הייתה מושב הסנהדרין ומקום חתימת המשנה, על פי המסורת קבור בה רבי יהודה נשיאה.
בימי הורדוס הייתה ציפורי עיר ראשית בגליל.
במלחמת העצמאות ב-1948 נכבש המקום בידי צה''ל במבצע ''דקל''.
בשנת 2000 הוחל בהקמת שכונת הרחבה קהילתית. המושב מונה כ-190 משפחות (826 תושבים, נכון לספטמבר 2012), ויש בו כ-70 נחלות חקלאיות, רובן פעילות.
המושב מנוהל בידי אגודה חקלאית ובידי ועד מקומי. Moshav Zippori belonged to the seat area of the Jezreel Valley Regional Council, located about 7 km east of the junction carrier. It was established in 19499 by the Jewish Agency near Fort ancient Zippori, Zippori National Park today.
