גבעת חן

מושב גבעת ח"ן הוקם בשנת 1933 במסגרת מה שנודע כ"התיישבות האלף". המושב הוקם ע"י 41 משפחות שעלו מפולין, רוסיה, ליטה וגרמניה אשר ביקשו להקים ישוב חקלאי בארץ ישראל. מושב גבעת ח"ן נקרא על שמו של חיים נחמן ביאליק(ח"ן = חיים נחמן). מושב גבעת ח"ן שייך למועצה אזורית דרום השרון. בשנותיו הראשונות של המושב, התבססה כלכלתו על גידולי ירקות ומשק חי של פרות ותרנגולות. מאוחר יותר, בשנות החמישים, החלו הרפתות להעלם מנוף המושב ובמקומן התפתח ענף הפרדסנות. כיום, למרות שחלק מחברי המושב כבר אינם עוסקים בחקלאות, עדיין נשמר צביונו החקלאי ומגדלים בו ירקות ופירות ע"י מגדלים שהתמקצעו בגידולים המועברים לכל חלקי הארץ ולמדינות רבות בעולם. בנוסף עוסקים בני המושב בתחומים נוספים הן כשכירים והן כעצמאים, נותני שירותים ובעלי עסקים מקומיים. Moshav Givat Chen was founded in 1933 in what was known as' settlement millennium ". The moshav was founded by 41 families immigrated from Poland, Russia, Lithuania and Germany which sought to establish an agricultural settlement in Eretz Israel. Moshav Givat Chen was named Chaim Nachman Bialik (Chen = Chaim Nachman). Moshav Givat Chen belongs to South Sharon Regional Council. Early in the session, based its economy on vegetable crops and livestock of cows and chickens. Later, in the fifties, began barns disappear from the landscape the seat and instead evolved orchard industry. Today, although some members of the seat has been are engaged in agriculture, still retained its agricultural character sprouting vegetables and fruit crops by raising professionalism transferred to all parts of the country and many countries around the world.
