אוהד

אֹהַד הוא מושב בחבל אשכול, במערב הנגב הצפוני, כ-35 ק"מ דרומית מערבית לאופקים. המושב משתייך לתנועת המושבים. ביישוב גרות כ-100 משפחות. המושב נקרא על שם אֹהַד, בנו של שמעון, שבתחום נחלתו הקדומה מצוי היישוב. המושב הוקם ב-1966, אך לאחר מלחמת ששת הימים הוחלט להקפיא את אכלוסו. האכלוס חודש ב-1969. תוך כדי העלייה לקרקע התקיימו עבודות פיתוח כבישים והצבת תאורת רחוב ונבנו מוסדות ציבור. 15 משפחות ראשונות מבני מושבי הדרום התיישבו דרך סוכנות תנועת המושבים, ועד שנת 1974 הצטרפו למושב כ-30 משפחות. מושב אוהד הוא מושב עובדים חקלאי חילוני. במושב 50 משקים המבוססים בעיקר על גידולי מטעים, ירקות ופרחים. במרכז המושב מצויים מוסדות ציבור כגון בית עם, מזכירות, חדרי ישיבות, מועדון נוער, גן ילדים, בית כנסת, מקווה טהרה, גן שעשועים ומתקני ספורט ומשחקים. ילדי המושב לומדים בגני ילדים הממוקמים ביישוב, בכיתות היסוד מתקיימים הלימודים בבית הספר היסודי יובלי הבשור, ובגיל התיכון הם לומדים בתיכון נופי הבשור.
